i'm finally here!

hi everyone!!
i am so excited to report that we got to rome safely on sunday! praise the Lord! this week we've been trying to get acquainted with our team, the city, and getting ready to move. (that's right.. october 1st, new apartment, woohoo!) but anyway, we just went out to get cell phones friday (text messaging is really big here and pretty much the only way to get in touch with italians) and took a bus tour of the city. i am officially in love with rome.

next week we'll be starting language classes and hopefully ministry. we still have some planning and things like that to get out of the way, but then we'll be set! thanks so much for your prayers for my travel, everything went great! i'll update soon as there's a whole lot of stuff going on in the next couple weeks. ciao!
