a little good news, a little not so...

Last night we had our first student party of the year, so exciting! We got to connect with a bunch of people who were involved in the ministry last year. We also realized how much there still is to do in Rome before the ministry can be handed off to nationals. There are very few believers and those that do believe are not what Crusade would call "multiplying disciples". (i.e. people who will actively share their faith and build the movement) pray that we will meet people who are ready to trust Christ with their lives and make an impact on their city!

On a little bit less exciting note, we found out that we did not get the new apartment. It was pretty disappointing, our current apartment has no washer, oven, or hot water except for in the shower. our landlady is also a little bit less than excited that we're here and keeps raising rent and making us pay a "condominium fee" that should technically be paid by her. so that's a little rough. we're excited to get a new place and finally have a home here in roma!
